RESTU RATNANINGSIH

Restu Ratnaningsih was born in Tangerang in 1981. She once studied at the Art Pedagogy Department, Jakarta State University, until 2003. She now works as a freelance illustrator. In 2007-2008, she was the curator for the program Hybrid_e at the Centre Cultural Francais, Jakarta with the exhibitions of instan 3in1 and mari Bungkus ( let’s Wrap it). She is also actively participating in various art exhibitions. In 2008, she held her solo exhibition, Memento, at the Vivi Yip Art Room, Jakarta.

The work will be on the location until February 28, 2009

GRAFISOSIAL

Grafisosial is an organization that strives for a social change and better life through grafic design and visual communication, and by developing critical attitude toward the multitude of propagandas existing in the society. Established in 2006 in Jakarta, Grafisosial creates graphic design works, researches, provides, trainings, holds seminars, builds a database, records, and publishes an online journal, grafisosial is managed by kurnia Setiawan, Toto M. Mukmin, Juli Asmanto, Agus Danarto, Gregorius Genep Sukendro,Arief Adityawan S.,and theresia Airin Sani.

ENRICO HALIM

Enrico halim was born in Bandung, 1969. He finished his study in grafic design in 1993. Since 1994, he initiated and ran the Aikon media, trying to realize his dream of open –minded Indonesian society. In 1997, he received Vidia award for aikon TV. He now works as a visual designer and programmer for a variety of institutions. Once of weeks, he teaches and assist final year students at the Department of Visual and  Communication Design, Faculty af Art Design, Tarumanegara University, jakarta.

DANIAL KAMPUA

Daniel Kampua was born in Jakarta in 1984. He graduated from the Department of Photography, Jakarta Institute of Art, in 2008. He has been actively involved in a number of workshops and exhibitions. He is also working as a photographern in a magazine in Jakarta. He was one of the five awardees receiving the Special Awards at the Jakarta 32c 2008, an exhibition of visual works by Jakarta students, held by ruangrupa and Komplotan Jakarta 32c at the National Gallery of Indonesia in 2008.

CARTERPAPER

Carterpaper is a group of artists with following members:  Wendi Maulana , Alfan Sudrajat , Sakti Fhana, syarifudin Haromain, Juan zaki Ersad, and Anditya W. From a class room at the Jakarta state University (UNJ). They went on the create works using a varietyof media in the Jakarta public spaces since 2006. Their work had won one of the five Special Awards of Jakarta 32^oc 2008, an exhibition of visual works by Jakarta university students, held by ruangrupa and komplotan Jakarta 32c at the national Gallery of Indonesia.
